Announcing the "Horizon Credit Union Centre"
In a press conference Friday, September 16th, at 10 a.m. Terry Sieffert, General Manager on behalf of the members of Horizon Credit Union, announced that the Horizon Credit Union has purchased the naming rights for the newly constructed Melville Communiplex.

Walter Streelasky, City of Melville Mayor and the President of Horizon Credit Union stated, “I am very pleased that a Naming Rights Sponsorship Agreement has been reached between the City of Melville and Horizon Credit Union. Horizon Credit Union is a very community-minded organization that strives to support and enhance initiatives throughout our region. I trust that this partnership between the City and Horizon Credit Union will be a long lasting relationship that will serve to benefit our community well into the future.”
The agreement provides Horizon Credit Union the opportunity to maintain the rights to name the new facility for the next 10 years at a purchase price of $200,000. The facility will be called the Horizon Credit Union Centre.
Horizon Credit Union sees the purchase of the naming of the complex as an enhancement to the support they provide in communities throughout the area. 
Terry Sieffert, General Manager with Horizon Credit Union stated, “Horizon Credit Union is committed to supporting the community and we see this as a winning opportunity for us and for residents of Melville and the surrounding area.” He further went on to say “The purchasing of the naming rights to this complex in no way changes our commitment to other community projects we support in any of our locations Grayson, Neudorf, Grenfell, Wolseley or other projects in Melville or surrounding area. Horizon Credit Union’s commitment to these communities remains the same.”
