Each year Horizon Credit Union contributes over $10,000 toward community events, community clubs and projects. Our team contributes their time as volunteers to many community events and projects that make our communities a great place to work and live. The City of Melville is an expanding community located in south eastern Saskatchewan along Highway 10. There are five schools, including 2 that offer French immersion and a post-secondary institute where students have the benefit of the Parkland College. Melville is also rich in sport and recreation and is home to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and Western Major Baseball League “Melville Millionaires”. The Village of Grayson is a peaceful community with 200 people located 15 km north of the scenic Qu’Appelle Valley, 35 km from Melville. Grayson is widely known for Ottenbreit’s meat which produces the famous Grayson Sausage and beef jerky.  Grayson features a Historic German Heritage Roman Catholic Church, Skating Rink, Tennis Courts, and is in close proximity to golfing at Cowessess and the MooseBay Greenhouse. The Grayson School holds students from kindergarten to grade nine. As well Grayson has a grocery store, hardware store, post office, tavern, and other amenities too numerous to mention.

The Town of Grenfell is a community of approximately 1,050 residents. Grenfell is located in Southeast Saskatchewan, on the TransCanada Highway within a close proximity to Regina and just minutes north of the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley. The Town of Wolseley is located off the TransCanada Highway. Wolseley is known as the town around a lake, and you can see the lake up close when you take a walk across the swinging bridge. Wolseley also is home to the first Saskatchewan drive-in and the twilight drive-in theatre still shows movies during summer. Dam Days is an annual event hosted in Wolseley with many activities for everyone.
