These qualities, thoughtfulness and caring, is what drives our staff to fulfill our Vision and Mission of helping our members and their communities achieve financial prosperity and financial health.

Happy Holidays to everyone in Melville, Grayson, Grenfell, Neudorf and Wolesley from the Directors of Horizon Credit Union.

2018 has been another challenging, busy and successful year.  It was also a year of significant change for our organization.  As we move forward, it is my hope that 2019 will be another great year with new challenges and many triumphs.

It is working together with knowledgeable, dedicated staff from all five of our branches that make the challenges appear minimal and the successes greater.  It is our loyal members supporting Melville, Grayson, Grenfell, Neudorf and Wolseley branches who play a big part in our successes.  Horizon Credit Union strives to provide the best member experience year round for our members.  It is our pleasure to serve our members and communities.  In addition, the support from our Board of Directors and Advisory Committees is invaluable.

On behalf of the staff at Horizon Credit Union, I would like to wish you and your family a very happy holiday season. May this season of joy continue throughout the New Year keeping you and your family healthy, happy and enjoying continued prosperity.

Larry Yeadon, CEO
Horizon Credit Union

As a Financial Co-Operative, we pride ourselves on the level of community involvement and assistance we are able to provide, giving back to our members through sponsorships, donations, and volunteer time. Over the last 5 years, we have averaged an amazing 2,127 hours of volunteer time annually among the 5 communities we serve. For 2018, Horizon Credit Union has already provided over $15,000.00 in sponsorships to local non-profit organizations, and our staff  have  donated over $2,600 out of their own pockets through our Dress Down Fridays fund to local organizations and families in need.

At the beginning of a new year is a great time to review your financial affairs including your investments and net worth. It is a good time to consider your total family income, how much you spend and what your debts are. See how much you have left over, and what you would like to accomplish with it. With RRSP season fast approaching, now is the time to set long-term goals to set yourself up for a comfortable retirement. We care about each and every member and strive to do our absolute best to assist you with anything you may need. At Horizon, you are our family, friends and neighbours. Book an appointment today with one of our knowledgeable Wealth Management staff so that you can set yourself up for success!

On behalf of the Staff in Melville, Grayson, Grenfell, Neudorf, and Wolseley, we would like to wish you a Happy Holiday Season and Prosperous New Year.
